The Study of English Learning Styles at Khadijah Female Boarding House (APK) Perumnas Tlanakan Indah Pamekasan

Key Words: Learning Styles

In English learning styles, there are three type of learning style. They are visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Visual, auditory and kinesthetic of learning style is one of learning styles that used at Khadijah Female Islamic Boarding House (APK) Perumnas Tlanakan indah Pamekasan.
There are two research focuses in this study. The first, what are the English learning styles being used by members at Khadijah Female Islamic Boarding House (APK). The second, How is the process of English learning style among the members at Khadijah Female Islamic Boarding House (APK).
In this research, the researcher uses qualitative approach. While kind of research, the researcher uses descriptive research. Because the researcher describes the English learning styles at Khadijah Female Islamic Boarding House Islamic (APK) Perumnas Tlanakan Indah Pamekasan. To collect the data, the researcher uses observation by entering to the Khadijah Female Islamic Boarding House (APK), directly interview with the members, and documentation study in group and in the room.
The result of this research, the researcher found that there are three learning style at Khadijah Female Islamic Boarding House (APK). They are visual learning style, auditory learning style and kinesthetic learning style. The researcher also found that there were many members had one or more learning style. Likewise, member had visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning style. It was proved when the members studied in group or in the room.
Based on the result of research above, the researcher can conclude that the members at Khadijah Female Islamic Boarding House (APK) had three learning styles. The researcher just observed learning styles of each level of semester from 2nd, 4th, and 6th semester. The members who had visual learning style are 7 members, the members who had auditory learning style are 7 members, and the members who had kinesthetic learning style are 7 members.
