English is one of lessons that studied by students at elementary school, junior and senior high school, teacher have considered target need only in objective sense, but teacher never considered learners necessities in English lesson, learners need material that suitable with their needed to help them in their learning process, Needs analysis is the process of determining a student’s financial need by analyzing the financial information provided by the student. And it is refers to the learners or refers to the learning, and teachers needs analysis what the learners need, the resons to the learning, and learning process.
Based on the fact, there are two focus of research that be an important thing that must to discuss in this research, there are: First, What are the learners needs in learning English speaking at first grade of technique department at SMK Siti Khodijah Gulbung, Sampang; Second, What are the Speaking materials suitable in learning English speaking at first grade of technique department at SMK Siti Khodijah Gulbung, Sampang.
This reserch use qualitative research the kind is description. The data source get from interview, observation and documentation. The informants are headmaster and english teacher. Whereas the checklist of the data do by the triangulation data.
The result of research are: First, To explain what the learner needs to study in learning English speaking at first grade of technique department at SMK Siti Khodijah Gulbung, Sampang; a). Necessities, b). Lacks, and c). Wants.Second, To discribe what the speaking materials suitable in learning English speaking at first grade of technique department at SMK SMK Siti Khodijah Gulbung, Sampang; a). Conversation, b). Telling story, and c). Memorizing the vocabulary.
So, Analysis Of Learners Needs In Learning English For First Grade Of Technique Department At SMK Siti Khodijah Gulbung, Sampang is depend on their experience, when they analyze the learners needs or not, that happen cause every teachers have different need to do it, and Some of the teachers describe the material that relevan with the learners condition in the class.
