In academical setting, teaching is the process of transferring the knowledge from the teacher to the students. The way of teacher in teaching is determined by the experiences. In English Teaching Media subject, the lecturer asked the students to do teaching practices by using media. Their teaching experiences would help their performance in their teaching practice.
There are two problems of this research. The first one is whether there is correlation between students' teaching experiences and the students' performance in English Teaching Media subject at the fifth semester of TBI STAIN Pamekasan . The second one is how significant the correlation between students' teaching experiences and the students' performance in English Teaching Media subject at the fifth semester of TBI STAIN Pamekasan.
In this research, the researcher used Quantitative research approach exactly correlational research design which data are analyzed by using statistical procedure and the population of this research is the students at the fifth semester of TBI STAIN Pamekasan . But the researcher took students who had teaching experiences as a sample of research by simple random sampling, and the result are seventeen students. The technique of data analysis used in statistical analysis exactly correlation Product Moment analysis.
The result of this research showed that there is correlation between students' teaching experiences and the students' performance in English Teaching Media subject at the fifth semester of TBI STAIN Pamekasan. The correlation between students' teaching experiences and the students' performance in English Teaching Media subject at the fifth semester of TBI STAIN Pamekasan is very strong. It could be proved by the obtained ( rxy ) with signifant 95% and df (degree of freedom): 17 (rxy : 0,958 > r1
: 0,482). It proved that the 9btained.r vlue is higher than r table in df:17. Based on the result above 1he researcher concluded that there is correlation between students' teaching experiences and the students' performance in English Teaching Media subject at the fifth semester of TBI STAIN Pamekasan. It is suggested for English teacher should consider that teaching experience can make the students interested in joining teching learning process. For the students should study a lot of important things in being professional teacher or practice to be teacher
more in order to be good teaching in the future
