In the world of education there is a teaching and learning process can be understood as a system. For that there are several components that must meet in learning including: the purpose of education and teaching itself, learners, education personal (teachers) and evaluation of teaching.

This research focus on how is the implementation of teacher professional competences toward the writing skill of tenth grade students at MA Miftahul Ulum Sumber Jati Laok Kadur Pamekasan and what are the factors supporting the teacher professional competence toward the writing skill of tenth grade students. While, The purpose of this research is first to know the implementation of teacher professional competence toward the writing skill of tenth grade students and the second to know the factors supporting the teacher professional competence toward the writing skill of tenth grade students.

This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive research. Because this research wants to know the implementation of teacher professional competence toward the writing skill of tenth grade students. Research used three ways to obtain the data; observation, interview, documentation. While the object of this research on English teacher of tenth grade.

The result of this research indicate that 1) The Implementation of Teacher Professional Competence toward The Writing Skill of Tenth Grade Students at MA Miftahul Ulum Sumber Jati Laok Kadur Pamekasan are professional because English teacher at MA Miftahul Ulum Sumber Jati Laok Kadur Pamekasan already meet the qualification of professional teacher and aware of the duties and responsibilities as a teacher based on observation and interviews that researcher have done. 2)Factors supporting The Implementation of Teacher Professional Competence toward The Writing Skill of Tenth Grade Students at MA Miftahul Ulum Sumber Jati Laok Kadur Pamekasan are: a. Academic Qualification b. Seminar of Education.

Finally, based on the result of this research it can be concluded that English teachers at MA Miftahul Ulum Sumber Jati Laok Kadur Pamekasan is a teacher with professional competence.
