The Effects of English Song on Pronounciation of 2nd Semester Students in Iain Madura

Pronunciation is a very important part of learning English. Pronunciation
cannot be left out when you want to learn English. Because pronunciation must be
masteredfirst to improve speaking skill.Song is a work of art that has a tone and a
voice, a song is also a work of sound art that comes from very diverse musical
instrument components, also accompanied by song lyrics that can be sung by a music
vocalist.
There are two research problem in this research: first, is there any the effect of
English song on pronunciation of 2nd semester students in IAIN MADURA. And the
second how significance the effect of English song on pronunciation of 2th semester
students in IAIN MADURA
This study used quantitative research, researchers collected data from a test
consisting of pre-test / post-test, and questionnaires. From the data collected by
researchers can find out the effects of english song on pronounciation of 2th semester
students in Iain Maduraand the student's response to the effects of english song on
pronounciation of 2th semester students in Iain Madura, there are three steps made by
the researcher, the first researcher divided the pre test to students, the two researchers
divided the post-test to students to answer the questions given by the researcher, and
the third researcher divided the questionnaire From the results of the test and
questionnaire provided by the researcher the results were very good, many children
considered that using English songs to fix their pronunciation was very good to apply.
