Using E-Learning Media Used By English Lecturer To Teach Statistic Research In The Sixth Semester In English Department Of IAIN MADURA

E-learning is a supporting application which is in use by the campus to facilitate the
learning process in the pandemic covid19 which uses learning online or online. on a class of
statistical research in the sixth semester of English department at IAIN Madura, lecturers using elearning as a learning media. In the process of learning statistical research faculty use the app
support in addition to using e-learning.
There are two research focus in this study. The first one is How does lecturer teach
statistical research by use E-learning as media in the six semester of English Department in IAIN
Madura. The second one is how do students response on the use of E-learning as media in teaching
statistic research.
In this research, the researcher uses qualitative as an approach of this research. The
researcher uses three instruments in collecting the data; observation, interview, and
documentation. For analyzing the data, the researcher uses data condensation, data display, and
verifying conclusion. Then the researcher uses triangulation of data source in checking the validity
of data.
The result of this research that found by the researcher are: the first, there are four types of
application support used by English lecturer in statistic research class during teaching learning
process, namely E-learning, WhatsApp Group, Zoom record and Super record. Second, all of
students in TBI B class have cognitive response toward the use of E-learning as media by their
English lecture in Statistic Research class at the sixth semester of English Department at IAIN
Madura.
Based on the result above, it is suggested for the students by understanding the application
to support in teach statistic research used by English lecturer, the students can avoid
misunderstanding in interpreting their English lecturer. It is suggested for English lecture lecturers
an insight about application to support teach in class statistic research and the perception of the
students when English lecturers used E-learning
