The Semantic Analysis on the Tafseer of Surah Al Kuatsar by Maulana Muhammad Ali

The meaning of the Qur'an in Islam has started since the Qur'an itself was
revealed. One of these efforts is semantic analysis. In understanding the Koran,
there are many approaches that can be applied, including using the semantic
approach proposed by Thoshihiko Izutsu. In this regard, Surah Al Kautsar is a
form of language speech that can be analyzed by semantic studies. This study has
2 objectives, namely: 1) To find out the interpretation of Surah Al Kautsar by
Maulana Muhammad Ali 2. How to analyze the semantics of the interpretation of
Surah Al Kautsar by Maulana Muhammad Ali from Thoshihiko Izutsu Theory.
The research method used in this research is library research. This research
design is a qualitative research design. The data of this research is in the form of
Surah Al Kautsar which contains semantic aspects. The instrument used to collect
data is a human instrument, namely the researcher himself.
The results of the research obtained are Surah Al Kautsar has the meaning
of many favors. The steps taken in Thoshihiko Izutsu's semantics are 1)
Determining keywords, collecting all the words, after collecting the selection
process from various words that will be studied in depth 2) Finding the basic
meaning (contextual content of the words that will remain attached to the word),
and relational meaning (which in its application depends on the context, as well as
relational inter-vocabulary in one sentence) 3) Synchronic meaning (view of a
word on the word system) and diachronic (view of language) 4) Weltanschauung
(world view) of the word being reviewed
