THE DESIGNING PROCESS OF COMPETENCE BASED CURRICULUM (KTSP) SYLLABUS BASED ON CHARACTER OF ENGLISH SUBJECT AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL THARIQAT SHUFIYAH LANGGAR TENGAH KACOK PALENGAAN PAMEKASAN

As we know education in Indonesia face many problem, namely; the reduction of student attitude the low of internal efficiency of education improvement. So that, it needs conversation of education system by mean of process effective and efficient.
This research is focus on two problems which become the main discussion this research, the first what is the important of designing process of competence based curriculum (KTSP) syllabus based on character of English subject at Senior High School Thariqat Shufiyah Langgar Tengah Kacok Palengaan Pamekasan? The second how does the English teacher design the KTSP syllabus based on character of English subject at Senior High School Thariqat Shufiyah Langgar Tengah Kacok Palengaan Pamekasan?
In this research the researcher takes place at Senior High School Thariqat Shufiyah Langgar Tengah Kacok Palengaan Pamekasan, the approach of this research is qualitative while the kind of this research is descriptive. The data are gotten by interview, observation, documentation, than those data is analyzed with analysis qualitative descriptive than all of data gotten is checked the validity of the data by persistence of observation and triangulation.
The result of the research shows that the designing process of competence based curriculum (KTSP) syllabus based on character of English subject at Senior High School Thariqat Shufiyah Langgar Tengah Kacok Palengaan Pamekasan is very importance to make because it is very useful for teacher and student.
And the designing syllabus can make the students be active than before because they have know toward what they must learn. And the English teacher can be easy in making the students understand the material. While the English teacher of Senior High School Thariqat Shufiyah Langgar Tengah Kacok Palengaan Pamekasan in designing syllabus of English subject always hold up to the students need about the material. Because the English teacher of Senior High School Thariqat Shufiyah Langgar Tengah Kacok Palengaan Pamekasan can be easy in determining the next method.
And also the designing KTSP based on character is very importance made by teacher at Senior High School Thariqat Shufiyah Langgar Tengah Kacok Palengaan Pamekasan because with the education character the students understand the values of human behavior associated with the Almighty God, self, neighbor, neighborhood, and nationality embodied in the thoughts, attitudes, feelings, words, and act according to religious norms, laws, manners, culture, and customs.
